We shared with you about the Korean giant Samsung announcing the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 tablets at the ongoing CES 2014 and the company has also announced an addition of two more tablets called the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 and the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 which will be made available to prospective buyers later this quarter.


The Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 10.1 as the name suggests, arrives with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and will come in two variants, depending on the processors which power it and those include the Exynos 5 Octa (1.9GHz x 4 + 1.3GHz x 4) or the 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2 GB of RAM while the internal storage is pegged at 16 GB and 32 GB. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 10.1 has an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash on the back with a 2 megapixel camera on the front having video chats and more.

The tablet comes with Android 4.4 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on the top of it. Connectivity wise, the tablet has 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi MIMO, USB 2.0, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5mm audio jack. There is a large 9500 mAh battery to power the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 10.1.


Also announced is the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 which has a smaller 8.4 inch display, but keeps the high resolution intact at 2560 x 1600 pixels, thus the pixel density will be just brilliant and viewing experience great. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, has 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage options which option to expand it using a microSD card up to 64 GB. Android 4.4 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI runs on the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4.

An 8 megapixel camera on the back with LED Flash while a 2 megapixel front camera is available to user with connectivity options made available are 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.A decent 4800 mAh battery has been included to keep the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 running for users. Both the tablets have a hardware home button and come with the faux-leather finish on the back as on the Note 3. No details on pricing yet but we should hear more from Samsung as it makes the tablet available in the market.
