Sony is one mobile company which has decided not to be outdone by other companies and continues to launch new devices. And earlier this year, the company announced the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual which goes on to be a mid-range device going by the price but comes with a huge 6 inch display and today the smartphone or phablet as we call it nowadays has been launched officially in India for Rs.25,990.


The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual carries a huge 6 inch TRILUMINOS Display for mobile with X-Reality picture engine with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which should give you a decent pixel density if not excellent. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory is pegged at 8 GB which will further be expandable using a microSD card slot up to 32 GB. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual, as the name suggests comes with dual-SIM capability.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual has a nice 13 megapixel camera on the back and comes with Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash while it is capable of recording videos at 1080p while there is a HD 1.1 megapixel on the front with Sony Exmor R. The smartphone is 7.65mm thick and weighs about 170 grams and connectivity options include the usual 2G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, NFC< Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. And to keep the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual running, there is a powerful 3000 mAh battery with STAMINA mode.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual will be available starting March 20th to users for Rs.25,999 and colour choices will include White, Black and Purple. The smartphone can compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 which is in the same price tag. So will you buy the T2 Ultra?
