It was in September earlier this year when silicon chip maker NVIDIA unveiled its NVIDIA Tegra Note running on the Tegra 4 processor and is the NVIDIA but will be made available to various partners who will be able to customize the tablet and brand it for selling it in the local market. And at the time of the launch, the company had announced XOLO as its partner in India which will carry the tablet in the country and now, the XOLO Play Tegra Note is available online for pre-order.

The XOLO Play Tegra Note carries a 7 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels while it is powered by a powerful 1.8 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with 72 core NVIDIA GeForce GPU which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. THe internal memory on the tablet is pegged at 16 GB which will be further expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card. The tablet measures 9.6mm thick and weighs just 320 grams. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the back of the XOLO Play Tegra Note while a VGA front facing camera will also be available to users.

The XOLO Play Tegra Note runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box while it is powered by a 4100 mAh battery which according to the company will provide 10 hours of HD Video payback. Connectivity wise, the Tegra Note packs in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microHDMI port. Coming to the pricing,the XOLO Play Tegra Note is available to users for pre-booking with online retailer Flipkart for Rs.17,999 which seems to be pretty price tag for the specifications that the device arrives with.
