XOLO which is better known for its Intel based smartphones has finally entered the race of the few manufacturers who love to launch smartphones with a thinner waistline and the company has now made official the XOLO Q1000S which the company had been teasing for some time now on its Facebook page. Speaking of the thinness which is the USP of the XOLO Q1000S, the smartphone measures just 6.98mm which makes it the thinnest smartphone in the whole portfolio of the company.


In the thin frame, the XOLO Q1000S packs in 5 inch HD IPS display based on the One Glass Solution (OGS) technology with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while it is powered by a quad-core processor from MediaTek clocking at 1.5 GHz which is complemented with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage on the XOLO Q1000S is pegged at 16 GB with no information on the presence of a microSD card slot for further expansion.

The XOLO Q1000S carries a 13 megapixel camera on the back with BSI 2 sensor and LED Flash which will allow users to take some great low light images while a 5 megapixel front facing camera also with BSI 2 sensor will allow users to have some high quality video chats with their loved ones and click some nice self shots. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and a 2500 mAh battery will power the smartphone and the company claims users will enjoy about 12.5 hours of talktime and 425 hours of standby. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G (HSDPA), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB port.

Coming to the most crucial part, the price of the device and the XOLO Q1000S will be available for prospective buyers for Rs.18,999 which seems to be a decent price for the specs that the device packs in. Will you buy one?
