Chinese mobile manufacturers are finally looking to expand their footprints to international markets and while Huawei has been successful in this, ZTE is trying its best to attract the new consumers. And today the company has announced the launch of a range of devices which, the company believes will help it to gain a good number of buyers apart from its home ground China. ZTE has today announced the launch of the ZTE Nubia Z5S and the ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini.


Going by the specifications, the ZTE Nubia Z5S packs in a 5 inch full HD Sharp IGZO display which will give users some nice views while it is powered by the powerful 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone will arrive with 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage while there is no news if it would be expandable using a microSD card slot of not. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and weighs just 126 grams. There is a 13 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS, with 120 fps capability and 4K video capture. The front facing camera is pegged at 5 megapixel.

The ZTE Nubia Z5S will be available in two variants with 4G LTE or 3G connectivity depending on the carrier and region and has a 2300 mAh battery to keep it running. Going by the pricing, the 3G 16GB ZTE Nubia Z5S will cost 1999 Yuan ($328) in China, while 32GB LTE version will cost about 3456 Yuan ($567).

Next is the ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini which arrives with a 4.7 inch display which has a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. While it is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Internal memory on the ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini is pegged at 16 GB and 32 GB as on the Nubia 5S. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean runs the show on the Mini and there is a 13 megapixel camera on the back of the device. ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini, with 3G and 16GB of storage will cost 1499 Yuan (around $246),while 32GB LTE version will cost 2345 Yuan (around $348).
